Who is the Reluctant Yogi?

I’m Suzanne, a senior yoga teacher & trainer in the UK, and owner of Babacool (babacool.net). I’ve been practising yoga and meditation for almost 30 years. I’m “reluctant” not because of the practice, which I love, but because of the wellness industry as a whole.

With an academic background in philosophy, and a former life as a fraud investigator, you could say I’m pretty sceptical by nature. The wellness industry isn’t a natural fit for me. This newsletter expresses my thoughts, reflections, and stories about life as a yoga teacher, and explores the often weird world of alternative health.
